Sharon Dunkel

Both natives of South Dakota, Sharon and husband Jim have called Fargo, North Dakota home for many years.  They have two sons and one daughter-in-law who each follow Jesus closely.  Sharon and Jim have had an active role in each community of believers they have been a part of throughout their married life.  They have shared their musical talents in multiple ways, enriching the worship of experience of many.  Both have great gifts of hospitality and exhibit servant hearts in all situations.

Sharon has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1996.  With the exception of a three-year ministry sabbatical where she served as Director of Teen Girls Discipleship at Bethel Free Church in Fargo, she has spent her career in the primary care setting.  Currently, she has a practice at North Dakota State University Student Health Center where she provides primary care to college students.  Regardless of the setting, Sharon brings joy and truth along.  She has a sympathetic ear and is ready to share Jesus with anyone who is willing to listen.
